EXT. PARIS STREET - DAY
MOZART strolls through the streets of Paris, a melancholic expression on his face.
A clear, melodic voice floats through the air, drawing his attention.
He turns to see ALOYSIA singing in front of a shop, her voice enchanting.
MOZART
(stopping, mesmerized, voice-over)
Heavenly sound! Who is this young lady?
As the song ends, the crowd erupts in enthusiastic applause.
MOZART approaches ALOYSIA and bows deeply.
MOZART
Miss, your voice is like the stars in the sky, utterly captivating.
ALOYSIA smiles slightly and gracefully returns the gesture.
ALOYSIA
You flatter me, sir.
MOZART
May I ask who you are?
ALOYSIA
I am Aloysia Weber, a singer.
MOZART
Miss Aloysia, your voice is so beautiful. May I have the honor of composing a song for you?
A glint of mischief sparkles in ALOYSIA's eyes.
ALOYSIA
Oh? Are you a composer?
MOZART
Yes, I am Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
ALOYSIA pretends to be surprised, covering her mouth.
ALOYSIA
Mozart? You are that genius composer, Mozart?
MOZART
You know me?
ALOYSIA
Your talent is renowned throughout Vienna; how could I not know? It is my honor to sing for you.

INT. OPERA HOUSE BACKSTAGE - NIGHT
Characters: MOZART, ALOYSIA
ALOYSIA is backstage, applying makeup as she prepares for her performance.
MOZART stands nervously beside her, holding a bouquet of flowers.
MOZART
Aloysia, I wish you great success in your performance!
ALOYSIA takes the flowers, smiling faintly.
ALOYSIA
Thank you, Mozart.
MOZART
This piece is specially composed for you. I hope you like it.
ALOYSIA
I knew you would come.
Her tone is neutral, lacking any discernible emotion.
MOZART
(urgently)
Do you like the piece?
ALOYSIA stands, casually placing the flowers on the table, then turns to the mirror to adjust her makeup.
ALOYSIA
It’s nice. The music is great; I really like it. I’m sure tonight’s performance will be a success.
MOZART wants to say more but is interrupted by the stage manager’s call.
STAGE MANAGER
(loudly)
Miss Aloysia, it’s time to go on!
ALOYSIA
(turning back, smiling at MOZART)
I’ll go perform now. Wait for me here.
ALOYSIA turns and walks away, leaving MOZART standing alone, his eyes filled with anticipation and anxiety.
